From the Mechanical Dimension, we continue through the residential zone with still no other human in sight. Perhaps there aren't any in this dimension...suddenly strong thunderous gusts of wind reign down in front of us. A large birdlike mechanical form rapidly floats down in the middle of the street. It sits and regards us for some time. It appears feathered at first but upon closer observation the feathers are thin, perfectly shaped, sheets of solid material. The only bird I can think of that its shape resembles, even in white, is the phoenix.
