I noticed the detail put into the disassembled pistol. Either you did some homework or you've got some experience with sidearms, in either case still an awesome job! I don't think most people would've put that kind of effort into it.

For whatever reason, I used to buy and read gun magazines in high school. I think the mechanisms are fascinating. I still remember the basics of a semi auto pistol, but not super accurately or anything. I've fired some a few times, but I've never owned one.

I've always been fascinated by the mechanics of them too. Especially when you get into the cycle of operations, which is directly related to what kind of weapon you're dealing with. I got most of my firearms experience from the military, especially in Afghanistan. You have to keep them clean, so it's like a bidaily ordeal you're disassembling and reassembling them. If you saw the bolt carrier group for any medium or heavy machinegun you'd probably wet yourself. It's ridonculous. A lot of teeny, tiny moving parts.

This is REALLY awesome! You did this with pen? I can't even do this with PENCIL. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH NOW! Seriously, if I did something like this, even in pencil, I would do this:

I know that, but I find it hard to do something like this in pen. I can barely do something decent with it, and I require a ruler and some basic shapes to do it, since anything more complex would look like crap. XD
