Heya! coming in from :iconprojectcommment:
You stated this is supposed to be a logo, so I’ll share some feedback based on that.
First of all – the shape. I think the shape and layout of this logo works great, it’s simple, easy to read, clearly outlined and has interesting form. The kerning between the outline and the inner shape could use a bit of tuning, but generally I can’t say much anything bothers me with the general shape.
The colors however, they need work. Logos often work the best with very simple color palette, 2-3 main colors, so that the logo is easily recognizable and repetitive. While your color palette is generally well composed, it could use refinement. I get your idea of the rainbow colors representing the vast variety of knowledge, but the gradients should be cleaner and I don’t think the glow does the logo justice. In general I think most logos work best with flat colors. Simple red, green, yellow and blue would do the trick on their own, but right now there’s too much mixed tones that mess up the logo’s clarity. This could work even with just two colors, let’s say red and yellow for example. You should also consider colors’ telling stories too – what colors would knowledge be and why?
One could also argue the idea for the concept is quite vague. I’m happy you stayed away from the typical ”light bulb”-idea and took more abstract approach. However to me this would rather represent imagination rather than knowledge (the colors probably do it).
It's a great start though!

Hello, I am from ProjectComment
This is a rather simple yet elegant piece if I say so myself. I was having a hard time considering what to say because it’s so simple, but I believe I have managed. This is a rather nice piece yet it has a lot to say. With just the title alone, it gives off a profound symbolism which helps serve the overall piece and elevates it to another level. Then again, the use colors really helps as well, as it’s very eye catching as well. It’s a very warm and soothing choice of color palette, thus giving the idea of knowledge being something to be sought after like warmth on a cold day. It’s a simple piece, yet has a lot to say due to the title alone. Great artistic eye in that regard. Of course, however, without the title, one could argue it’s just a multi-colored speech bubble and thus wouldn’t stand on its own merits. The idea of knowledge is a profound yet universal one, so maybe try adding something that wold invoke curiosity or knowledge, add imagery that makes the viewer’s mind click and say, “Oh, that’s indeed knowledge!” Without the title, I wouldn’t have gotten it myself. Other than that, it’s a well thought-out yet simple piece which has a lot to say. Great work...Oh wait, I just got it. The spiral is a question mark! Oh! I didn’t get it at first, sorry. Oh, and the little red dot! Oh! Wow, I missed that LOL
