Description The north face of the Monte Perdido, in the spanish Pyrenees. The mountain was masked by the clouds during 3 days, revealing the glacier occasionally... It was really cold and there was a strong wind, the ambiance was very impressive. It reminded me the world of Tolkien, Arda, with the Middle Earth and the Undying Lands. This place could have been the abode of some ancient gods or giants dragons.

Just as I was thinking that after the release of the hobbit some great pictures about Middle Earth should also end up as DDs I stumbled upon this. (I feel even better knowing that the landscape of my country made you think of Tolkien )
