Description Taken a bit north of Fremantle - it was already dark in the sky above, but still with a tiny amount of light on the horizon. I love this time of day for photography - mostly because I never see sunrise perhaps LOL
Fascinating information on this ship, with grateful thanks to who is Sherlock incarnate LOL

Thank you so much Malou. I saw a shot very similar in your gallery when I was there the other day. It was lovely that we had almost the same photos and idea

I'm Feelin' Sherlockish With This One Miss May, Inner Or Outer Harbor And Is Time Stamp Correct?

MayEbony In reply to GunMetal-Rat [2012-08-01 12:36:58 +0000 UTC]

LOL The time stamp is 2 minutes fast What are you up to?

Oh You're finding out the ship name

This was actually outside the harbour I would say - or possibly outer harbour - but it was one of about 4 along the horizon or closer. However, just checked, and it's the only unloaded container ship. How exciting!!!

Went Thru Port Records Repeatedly And Nothing Comes Close To This Ship...

What I Do Know: 3 Crane Bulk Carrier
By A Bit North Of Fremantle, Do You Mean Well North Of The Swan River?

Oh how odd - maybe it's a ship that pirates containers?

I was standing in the small park across the road from this house when I took the photo [link] So maybe 3 kms north of the mouth of the Swan, and I was looking west south west to take the shot (if the coast is direct north/south and we usually take it as such 'over here'.

I'll add that to the description. I spent a few hours in Las Palmas en route to Australia when we immigrated - I was 15.

Ha ha - well done! I know I'm a couple of minutes wrong on my camera and under normal circumstances it doesn't matter. You did well anyway.
