1.5 x 1.8 cm (0.50 x 0.79 inch), this is a handmade miniature book, saddle stitched and hard bound. Everything is handmade, including the faux leather the book is bound into. The gilding was done with 24k gold powder gild. All illustrations are done by hand, even he papers were dyed by hand before painting. Endpapers are also dyed by hand, by sumi-e technique.
