Here some magic coming your way...it's a witchcraft, this time
I planned posting this for Halloween, but my health (as usual) had different planes, so here it is now. A miniature witchcraft set, for all the witches out there
Set contains a book, dagger, little wheat/branch bundle, bowl of magic herbs, salamander and three candles (red, white, black).
Book is 2 cm high (0.78 inch) and has twenty pages dyed in rosehip tea (which makes them beautifully violet-gray). I haven't manage to measure other things properly, cause of their shape (and it would be pretty pointless, I think), so you can see the size more or less using the book as a reference. Candles are some 1 cm (0.39 inch) and the dagger is a bit more than that.
Dagger has a real wooden handle (carved out of the white wood, wide little less than a toothpick) and the blade is real metal...it is sharpen to some point and can even cut a bit, but I wouldn't recommend that
The wheat is made out of a real wheat straw and the magic herbs in the bowl are mixed tea, sealed with transparent, gloss finish.
Candles are real candle wax and wax dyes and the rest is made of polymer clay.

Oh, hi! Thank you! Well, materials are those of ordinary book: paper (dyed with tea), pva glue, cardboard and acrylic paint. Hope that helps. Feel free to ask here or over notes if you want to know more

How in the heck did you get a tiny blade for the athame, and how long did it take to make it?

Oh, well, I smithed it out of tiny nail actually. It took some other work, before final sharpening... It was long time ago, but if I remember correctly, it took few hours for the athame alone.

It's just that miniatures are even more fun to make than the full sized ones and also, a complete different category and a challenge ^^ But I can make any book in my gallery in full size as well (and often do sometimes, for commissions and such, they just never end up here). If you like such stuff, pay attention to my gallery in the next period, I should have some bigger ones (notebook and similar sized) there, soon.

Oh, well, I do commissions, if you would like one.
As for materials, I prefer using faux leather or linen for covers, but can use leather as well (customer chooses). Otherwise it's the usual book materials, waxed thread (it can be in any color), bookbinding cardboard, paints of various kinds and of course, paper...this can be by customer's choice (meaning the type and weight of paper used for pages), as well as number of pages and you can choose whether you would like it tea dyed or white, etc. The endpapers can be custom made as well, whether marbled or painted or otherwise altered. I offer a lot of other choices as well, attached bookmarks, additional painting on pages or covers, gilding, silvering, metal edges, damages of all sorts (artificially made to look realistic, of course)...and a lot more, lol.

Well, people sometime use them for charms too, for mobiles, keychains, bracelets...and I give the option to everyone who buy it, to install a ring on it for free (in case they want to use them this way).
