..."POOR POOR ERIK!"This was drawn quite a while ago after I had first read the original novel, and just had to yell the famous line!
Done while waiting after a piano competition last month, it just took me a while to finally get around to coloring it.

I love it! I really enjoy that even though your'e talking Leroux, it's the ALW Erik. I think I'm more half-mask loving than whole-mask loving. I'm actually more of 's Top-Half-of-Face-Mask loving.

Really? Awesome! I've only seen the recent 2004 one and the 1929 silent film (I own them both). I might be going to see the play in September when it comes to Atlanta, though. I was going to see the 1989 (I think that's the year) version, but mom wouldn't let me because it's rated R

Well colored, and the look on Erik's face is great.
You remind me of when I read it in fifth grade. After I finished, I just kinda broke out into random burst of tears throughout the rest of the week. I'd ask you how you liked the book, but I think it's pretty obvious.

^_^ I lurve Eric, too! It's hard to get a hold of but if you can get your hands on a copy of Susan Kay's Phantom, I think you'll love it! It's, like, the Phantom's bio. It made me love Eric even more thant I did. . . if that's possible. . .

I know exactly what you mean - I enjoyed Susan Kay's book even moreso than the original! She really gave the characters (especially Erik) a far greater amount of depth than Leroux's. I've even drawn a sort-of Kay phanart piece in my gallery, if you care to have a looksie. Thanks for stopping by!
