What a pleasant memory
How I laughed...and how I wept
And oh the secrets the tree has kept
Throughout all the happy years
Beyond all the bitter the tears
This tree has stood firm by my side
Knowing those who've lived and those who've died
This tree is beautiful to me
And has kept my every memory...

We're walking again on the warm land
malachite meadow of the sea
Returning birds are dying
beneath oranges on the cross-roads
On these grey-violet meadows
the sky is spreading its arcades
Landscape is softy soaking in eyelids
salt harden on naked lips
By evenings in the harbors
night’s licking sea with sweet mane
Like soft peers the summer bray
with wind blistered as with nettle
In front of pearl fountains
night is giving away the grapes of stars
We're walking again on the warm earth
we're walking again on the warm land

oh my gosh, I can't tell you how excited!!
I can't even sleep...was up at 5:30 this morning with nothing to do, so I made strawberry tarts and waited for the kids to wake up!
my grandmother's hands inspired this, and also the Yeats poem entitled "when you are old".
I"m going to do something incriminating while in Berkeley so you'll have good pictures!!
