I like the color balance on this too. The white plate pops from the warm tones, and the red berries stand waaay out. They're even cut at interesting angles to provide contrasting texture and geometry. Basically, this is a great shot of what looks like very good food.

Wow thanks for the constructive feedback on this It's interesting to have another perspective.

Although, I must admit that there was not much thought put into the actual presentation, I was just really craving Crepes. Those are my every day plates and that is the way I always cut strawberries

I feel the same way! It is also a good way to document recipes that I want to remember at a later time
