Description
I was asked to take a portrait of a good friend of my father - a musician he worked with often named Bobby Murphy. During the session at the beautiful Mount LaSalle in Napa, California we had an odd spot of summer thunder and a cloud passing above caused this lighting variance in the chapel at which I grabbed this less formal photo.
I recently found out Bobby passed away in 2019 and dug this out of the archives - he was an extremely talented organist, a gregarious spirit, and a good friend to our family.
