I have been playing Elite Dangerous a lot recently and certainly drew inspiration from there, aswell as a reference picture of the pulsar! And yes, I'm just gonna handwave the fact you'd be pretty dead in a situation like that with witty scifi words like, uuhm... active shields... and moving inside a standing wave of spacetime... and quantum technologies... and sunblocker!

This scene is certainly somewhat a little revisit to a picture I drew a couple of years ago!
