Description
Well, here is a meme I did. I will now explain each choice, then add an honourable mention for each type, as well as best over-alls. Please note these are just my opinions, and if you don't agree, I didn't force you to read this so please don't be all "GAWUD YOO LIEK JOLTIK!? WHAT THE BUTT IS WRONG WIT YOO!?"
Also, I warn you now, there is a fair bit of swearing in this.

Normal:
Ditto - He is the ultimate pimp, hellz yeah.
Cleffa - I've always found Cleffa adorable, and shiny has green on her! 8D
Castform - I dunno, I just used to have this obsession with Castform.
Togekiss - This pokemon is so stupid. I love it.
Herdier - HurDurr!
Honourable mention - Blissey, I find her very pretty.
Best overall - Ditto

Grass:
Gloom - I actually had a hard time choosing this one. Honestly, I liked most of the first gen grass types.
Hoppip - I squee every time I see this pokemon. 'Nuff said.
Shroomish - He looks so unimpressed with everything, omfg! <3
Cherubi - I actually had trouble on this one too, grass pokemon are super cute and should be on my favourite types list, oh well. To lazy to edit.
Snivy - This pokemon is just so.... spunky. When I was taking too long to let him evolve, he tapped his foot at me. This was also a hard choice.
Honourable mention - Ivysaur.
Best overall - Snivy

Fire:
Ponyta - Blue fire. Do want.
Cyndaquil - Cute.
Numel - Nothing better. At least it's cute.
Heatran - Hate this pokemon, nothing better at all.
Chandelure - It's bitchin'.
Honourable mention - Fucken Charizard.
Best overall - Shiny Ponyta

Water:
Magikarp - Reason starts here [link]
Mantine - I love this guy <3333
Sharpedo - It's a purple shark. Your argument is invalid.
Mantyke - rgffbdfbadfbaCUTE.
Oshawott - This pokemon is derpy. I laugh every single time I see it.
Honourable mention - Azurril, cutest thing ever.

Electric:
Raichu - Raichu pwns pikachu.
Ampharos - This pokemon is lovely, and great. I loverses it.
Electrike - There was nothing better that generation. Wait... yeah, no.
Rotom - N'awuh! So cute!
Zebstrika - It was this, blitzle, or Joltik. Hard choice.
Honourable mention - Raikou

Psychic:
Mewtwo - Green Mewtwo, yessssss.
Natu - Whozadowwabwewittwebuwd?!
Ralts - He thinks he's people!
Chingling - This generation sucks the devils poophole. No good psychic at all. This one's okay.
Munna - It was this, Sigilyph, Woobat, or Solosis. Hard choice.
Honourable mention - Starmie

Dark:
There is no first gen dark, so not applicable.
Umbreon - Yes, an Eeveelution, I repent! I repent!
Absol - I like this, actually, which is good because third gen dark pokemon mostly suck.
Spiritomb - Such pretty colours!
Liepard - Anyone who knows me, knows I love leapord everything. The only leopord print clothing I don't have are bras, because cute bras rarely go big enough for me.
Honourable mention - Zweilous, two heads are better than one, but not as good as three.

Fighting:

Heracross - A pink fighting pokemon!? Fucking brilliant.
Breloom - It's decent, better than other fighters.
Lucario - It's slightly better than Riolu. I hate fighting types, I hate fourth gen, you get the picture.
Scraggy - DAT FAYC!
Honourable mention - Virizion's pree cool.
Best overall - Hitmonlee.

Ghost:
Gengar - Gengar is amazing. I have a Gengar toque.
Misdreavus - I've always liked Misdreavus, and according to one of the pokedex descriptions, they act like me.
Duskull - I have a lady Duskull named Duderskull.
Mismagius - I honestly, legit like this pokemon, don't know why.
Litwick - Blue flame if it's shiny!? Schweet!
Honourable mention - Haunter <3
Best overallChandelure was fire, so Litwick.

Flying:
Gyarados - Fucking Gyarados!
Murkrow - The natural fedora-thing.
Salamence - I have a themesong I sing whenever I see Salamence. It's metal.
Drifloon - vftghbgsdbdfLOVE.
Sigilyph - IT'S SO REDICULOUS OMFG.
Honourable mention - Margarine, the Butterfree.

Bug:
Paras - Issokyoot. I named mine Hilton. >D

Surskit - Dustox was my second choice.
Combee - I fucking adore bees.

Victreebel - I named mine Bella, it's been love ever since.
Qwilfish - I like spiky fishies.
Gulpin - It's positively adorable! And it'll eat you!
Skuntank - Big red skunk. Awuh yeeeeah B)
Foongus - It looks like it'd make squeazetoy noises if you were to touch it, and that's just precious.

Dragonair - This pokemon is gorgeous <3
Kingdra - It was literally the only one.
Rayquaza - It was a toss-up between Rayquaza, Salamence, and Flygon.
Gible - D'n'awuh.
Hydreigon - Three heads are better than one.
Honourable mention - Drahonite.

Cubone - Cubone is the Batman of pokemon.
Larvitar - Larvitar is just so huggable! And upset looking!
Flygon - Flyyyyyyyyyyygon!

Jynx - Jynx!
Swinub - Only the best pokemon ever to exist ever.
Snorunt - It's all shiver-y!
Weavile - Pink! I have a shiny Weavile, it's my first shiny. I traded for it, but still!
Kyurem - This is everything I see when I picture Ice Dragons. It is perfect.
Honourable mention - Vanilluxe

Rock:
Omanyte - It's moustache dances when you trade it, and it can learn bite, which is the cutest visual ever.
Corsola - I've always loved Corsola, the beautiful shiny colour is just a perk.
Lunatone - >Durrhurr I'm a moon!
Bonsly - It's a very cute prevolution, and I have a plush Bonsly, which helps.
Dwebble - bfbdssfbsdBug pokemon are my favourite, omg. So cute.
Honourable mention - Aron, my fourth gen second choice.
Best overall - Dwebble.

Steel:
Magneton - It was that or Magnemite. And three heads appeal to me for some reason.
Scizor - Not much choice, I don't really like steel types. Often.
Maqwile - I also genuinely like Mawile, yay!
Probopass - I hate this pokemon so much that I love it.
Ferrothorn - Ferrothorn is amazing, look at it!
Honourable mention - Klinklang, my spirit pokemon.
