There is one little problem.....he only gets one shot...and then the whole tree comes down unless he has support or other snipers in the area to add to the mayhem and confusion of the first sneaky shot.

he does still have that SMG strapped to his leg he can use to escape if a head to head gun fight starts up. the point of it is to shoot but prevent whomever is also along from finding out where the shot came from.

You never want to use an SMG in the trees....can you say hit me here....it doesn't take long to find an MG or SMG in a tree....now a sneaky sniper...or a sharpshooter with a "silenced" rifle can cause untold havok from the trees if not detected...or trained to fire one shot...let the enemy pass and start picking them off from above or behind.

I wasn't talking about shooting it in a tree. I mean if he ran and they spotted him. Obviously an SMG would be idiotic to use in a tree, if not for the easy to spot target, then obviously for the lack of stability. =\
