I am really fascinated by the use of the light. How you shed the light on the dress and the path- it looks so realistic! And the little flowers on the dress...so beautiful! I like such little details. They make a art special

Maybe! Its largely the same method as [link] , just a few years and some acquired technique between the two, haha. I have done a few simple personal works in this style, but I have not posted them yet. I guess I sort of fear posting stuff out of my usual style zone

I don't know, I guess because I'm aware that I'm known for more of a realistic style, and am unsure of how the reception will be about my sketchier and more lineart-ish work..Its funny, really. I'm not sure how to put it..

..But anyway, I am considering showing more of my unusually styled work, maybe I'll try it out with Sta.sh and see what you think?

I think it is cool to see different arts of drawing! And I also think that you should not hide your pics only because of the receptions of other people! In the first place you have to like it and if you like to draw sketchier work- well than do it. Besides I bet lots of people would love to see other styles of you, because that shows your variety! And when there are people who do not really like the pics- who cares? Everyone has his own interests, even in the style of drawing!
And you must remember: It is not that you totally skip drawing realistic pics! You can show a good mix with both styles!

Haha The rough sketch was drawn in my sketchbook- there was more stuff on the page, so to fit it in, I drew it tilted. Later, when scanned into the computer, I decided I liked it that way! But, during the lines and coloring, I rotated the canvas upright so I could be sure of what I was doing ^^ Thanks again!
