Description So, this is the Aqueduc de Roquefavour built circa the 1840s, where the Canal of Marseille passes through... well all complicated, they had to build the canal which took 15 years.

Do have I to complain about the wires... ?

Aqueducts or bridges can be hard to photograph like of an angle like this.
It either gets wrong angle or wrong perspective, and it's hard to get it look good.

But you've sort of catched the height and size of this one, and gotten the right angle.
And you got all you needed of the aqueduct in the picture, you know, it doesn't need to be wider.

But at the bottom, it's something that makes it unbalanced. Maybe it is the trees and the wire, I don't know, but it's most likely. If they weren't there, it would really make the photograph whole.
Though at the top, it's much better. The sky is lovely, and how the sun shines, and makes the little detail on the top-right curve.

In whole, it's kinda comfortable to watch at, which makes the first impression good!

This looks great...the angle is perfect and you've captured a fantastic amount of detail in the brick work.

Tis a shame about the wire...you could clone it out...but it doesn't spoil the picture anyway.

Wouldn't want to jump off it!

Merci beaucoup for all the faves as well !! [yes I have to thank about a hundred of ppl... too slow & lazy]
This is a lucky shot, my dad was driving when I took the pic, he was like: Hurry up, I can't drive that slow!
Fortunately, no one was behind us...

Well, this aqueduct was made with the Pont du Gard model [link] - which is older and roman but twice as less higher than the aqueduct.

I don't know why there're wires around here, there's no bloody house in this godforsaken place, I can almost swear it x) Anyway... we can imagine the fishes complaining about the big big big (ok humongous) undersea wires for the Internet.

The Romans were so bloody clever...I'm surprised they didn't invent football as well!
