I joined a stream StickFreeks hosted and explained the origins of the username, partially that it was based on my oc MC. It made realize that I haven't drawn the kiddo in forever.

If you [older watchers who remember her] wonder why her appearance changes between posts, its not because I'm indecisive, it's part of her design: MC is an unstable shapeshifter. Part of this is displayed in how her eyes can resemble those of a wolf or of a human depending on circumstance -- the other is that her hair can shift from brown to white or rest somewhere in-between.

While I so rarely draw her, I've put a fair amount of thought into MC over the years, just incase WR is rebooted in any way. Surprisingly, there are a lot of aspects I like about the character. She's a mary sue, but I actually want to work off of that. I made MC when I was 11 (she is also 11 herself), in some sort of effort to make a super-confident presentation of myself in a fantasy environment. The version of MC that i now consider canon is based more on the true version of my 11 year old self: a young girl struggling with bullying and self-esteem, and developing close friendships while losing the majority of ones she had before. All her loud confidence would be as faked as it was when I was her age.

It's rare that you see songs more about friendship than romantic relationships. It kinda fits my current mood as I'm reflecting on my college experience. Throughout the years I've lost close friendship after friendship which leads me to worry that I'll never escape the cycle of investing a lot in others for the friendship to fall apart. I worry that my college friends will forget about me during the Peace Corps.

[Edit] - Well, the Peace Corps wont be a problem anymore since they kicked out every mentally ill applicant this year. Bless the USA's progressive policies for the mentally ill.
