We get our share here. I was actually camping in the snow that weekend.

I did for about 10 years in a row. There aren't many tourists around that time of the year and I get some great pictures. Almost every winter photo in my gallery is from there.

2 sleeping bags. One inside the other, and tie them tight around my neck so no air goes in. On my head I wear a wollen hat with just the eyes cut out!

I always slept very well, made a campfire in the morning for coffee & breakfast!

Really lovely picture, the faded buildings against the blinding snow is a really eye popping effect. The picture itself looks very antique like, and gives it a familiar feel that the viewer can relate with. Loving the roof patterns and the overhanging light. Really wonderful composition overall.
