Description Here's the finished in-verse map of North America around that timeline's 2014. The continent is largely American territory; its last expansion was the with the "Hudson States" following the Dominion Conflict. Indeed, the story of the American Federation's (AF) "Manifest Destiny" mirrors to a degree that of its real world counterpart, with a mixture of diplomatic dealing (mainly from the British and Russians), offers to other colonies, "pioneer spirit" and occasional conflict with either rogue tribes or the RDNA (at least in the earlier days). And like the US, there was a civil war (for similar reasons), though this took place in the 1840s-50s.

Also shown are the "Main Refugee Groups" of each country: the primary/predominant nationalities of those who fled the Terror and their descendants. These also coincide with the dominant Revivalist organizations of those nations.

Okay, there's two things about this map that kind of confuses me:
1. Why are Norwegians among the dominant immigrant groups to the American Federation but not Canada, which they would have an easier time reaching?

2. Bohemia was an important part of the Austrian Empire OTL. Why wouldn't the Czech be among the most dominant immigrant groups to the RDNA?

Anyway, nice map. I especially like the borders of Canada. They look pretty. XD

Let me answer that.

1. Some originally went to Canada, but the civil war that happened there forced them to move to the much larger American lands.

2. It might have been oversight when I first made it. But let's just say they were dispersed in the chaos. And that the Czech/Bohemian Revivalists are still based in New Vienna.

Royal Dominion of New Austria, roughly analogous to real world Mexico or New Spain.

Hmm... so are they the titular protagonist state in this time-line ?

Yup. Or at least the focal point.

I like it The AF's "Canadian" lands look good too, natural, not like they've just been added on as an afterthought like most maps with a US Canada

Thanks. And if you notice the "Hudson States" and compare this map to the 1920 version, they still sort of follow the old borders.
