That's a pretty cool concept, mate. It's been a while since I heard anyone with real wordplay. I stopped listening/buying to rap/hip hop in early 2000.
I kind of envy guys who live in the US because I wanna listen to battle rhymers. I must admit I first liked hip hop beats through DJ rectangle mixtapes in the mid 90s. Beats and rhymes were awesome back then.
You gotta school me in what's decent out there nowadays. I wished Mos def dropped an album similar to Black on Both Sides but commercialism has claimed a lot of people who'll make their money elsewhere. It's a pity.

I really like how the TV head and the trash can on his shirt play a very symbolic role in the piece. Very interesting concept, I agree a lot with you regarding most commercial rap.
