Description
On to the shoes, my client wanted to have the shoes focus around one of the movies most iconic features..... Kanedas bike. Hinces where my design comes from. I wanted to transform these size 9 1/2 AF1 mid's into the Bike itself. With the decals of the bike being the focus point it was settled. The front of the toe box is actual the front of the bike with every exact decal from the film on the bike. The top toe box panel resembles the front tire. The lace panel eyelets refer to the Glass window on the bike with added shimmer & glare. Moving upwards to the tongue and laces, this is resembling the sit of the bike. Going towards the back of the shoe we have some detail lining to show the outline and curves of what the rear of the motorcycle looks like. On the back strip there's a Pill which is the logo on kaneda's red jacket. And lastly is the straps, which read, "Good For Health", "Bad For Education".

As an added detail to the over all shoes i really wanted these to look just like the bike so i finished them off with a healthy dose of HIGH GLOSS finisher to give it that fresh candy paint looking Shin. And then making all the black (which resembled the tires) i did in a Matte finish.
