I find myself wanting to explore the crevices of the petals. Perhaps a rose is like a cave to the microscopic.

Great contrast! The slightly frayed petals seem to be saying, "I'm fading, won't be long before I'm gone..." You have an excellent eye and great creativity to see beyond the many roses that were available, knowing this one would tell the best story.

this rose looks so delicious to me like a giant freeze dried strawberry
