man that was weird. i didn't know what to think of that like, would she have stayed true to her word or did she have something up her sleeve? remember she was also being like "my post-scratch self got an arm cut off sooo" and i mean yeah but also no??

yeah, and the fact that she didn't feel relevant. but, i believe vriska mentioned smth about the fact that you can't all of a sudden try to be like some sort of pirate or smth else besides a book worm, if you were a book worm your whole life. like, aranea could've just stayed the same instead of making a doomed timeline and fucking everyone over all bc she wanted to be useful and relative all of a sudden. hell, she could've had smth up her sleeve all along, but im unsure. and aranea did try and also wanted to be like mindfang, but you can't all of a sudden be just like mindfang if you don't have the experience and all you've ever done is read. it just doesn't work that way. and personally, i think aranea was somewhat relevant and useful. i found what she had to say was intriguing and useful, and she was somewhat relatable? i just loved the knowledge she had provided tbh. but still, she probably shouldn't've decided to go do that.
this is just how i think about the situation n stuff on what aranea did, since i think it makes some sense.

yeah i totally agree with you! it also just stinks too because she was so cool. trying to fix stuff and find callie, which technically worked in a way. i wonder how she adjusted back in the afterlife. i bet it wasn't really a huge deal since karkat probably doomed more timelines than everyone else combined. haha who knows
