Originally drawn for the Merlin Muses Fest ([link] ), prompt #17, submitted by dreamdustmama: Arthur discovers Merlin's magic book. He is furious and heartbroken; Merlin is subdued but stubborn in his insistence that he did the right thing. Arthur never believes Merlin is evil, but he is still angry, hurt, and confused. There is much angst and arguing between them but they eventually work it out.

I'm really, really proud of this (even when Arthur kept me awake several nights, and not precisely in the way I'd have loved him to), and I feel like I shouldn't. Oh, well... post-partum depression, I guess.

"Découverte Accidentelle" means "accidental discovery" in french (oh, you wouldn't have guessed, right?)
