Description Here is the Standard Pistol (Called the "Guardian" in the game [link] and the Burst Rifle (Called the "Daybreaker" in the game [link] . Both are for Insomniac's new game FUSE. The pistol was modified a little before it went into the game (for the better). The turn around on the "Daybreaker" was rather quick so you can still seem some of the photo-bashing that went into it. Not clear in this side drawing, but the "Silencer/barrel extension" is shaped like a grip to match the two handed grip of the character rigs.

I'd also like to point out that this is for a video game and though I do appreciate "real world" functionality feedback, the ONLY thing we're concerned about is how a weapon looks like in the game, and that it matches the gameplay functionality. I cannot stress this enough, it wasn't my project, it wasn't my design requirements. Also these are over 2 years old now.

That is one BIG suppressor. Compensating for something, much? x3

I really love the texture you have on the pistol grip. Is that drawn in or done via actual texture? If it's the former, then holy crap.

Try looking for the Osprey suppressor. It's about the same size

Also I know it was never mentioned, but I never said that in disbelief. I just wanted to say that.
Also holy crap that is huge. O3O That is QUITE the suppressor.

These are beautiful concepts but they have the same mechanical problem as the other two =/
but again the problems are fairly easy to fix i imagine. I don't mean to insult you by recommending this tutorial but it is quite useful if you're unfamiliar with some of the functionality of guns ([link]

Thanks... but like I said, sometimes in video games there's things that come up, such as character grip position , firing mechanics, and other hoopla that overrule if a weapon would be functional in the real world, mostly in this case because its third person sci-fi fantasy. Also since these are over two years old, for a now published video game, I'm not going back to the drawing board. Even in the real world sometimes they try and break the rules and you get some oddball results [link] .

Huh, i suppose that adds quite a bit more plausibility to your design. Those russians always coming up with crazy ideas. But i suppose your right, being a stickler about realism can be pointless sometimes.
