Well I haven't done many critiques lately, I always think I'm repeating myself see?
Anyway, this is actually a really nice picture with some very pleasant colours and a nice reasonably well drawn character.
Your anatomy and accuracy with the character has certainly improved since last I critiqued, in fact everything seems to be quite well aligned and measures up nicely, the arms seem to be in the right place and the legs look the right length. Not only that but the face, huge improvement. The eyes finally seem to be in more or less the right place. Well done on that really.
I know just as well as anyone that drawing characters from the side can be surprisingly difficult especially in proportioning the character correctly, so I must say you did very well with this piece.
The colours, mostly a range of soft pinks and yellows, they work very well together to just relax the viewer quite pleasantly, it ultimately makes the image seem very calm, very soothing and really just nice to look at.
You know I often mention shading and highlights, but this time I think the light shading is actually very fitting for this kind of piece, heavy shading works better for pieces that need to strike with the viewer, this in turn means it's hard to relax when viewing a heavy contrast, stark image. So this time, for this particular piece the shading, I would say is just about right.
Cute background as well, once again not too detailed and full to keep everything peaceful.
All together I really like, very well done and I hope to see more great work from you.
