So I recently got into Team Fortress 2 and I must say, THAT GAME IS SO MUCH FUN AAAHHHH. Anyway, I figured I might as well try making some fanart or something.I'm pretty pleased with the way this turned out, overall, though I think the colors and shadows could use some work in some places. I tried experimenting with environmental depth-y stuff here, and I rather like the results. Backgrounds are something I still struggle with, so this felt like a pretty successful venture into things that fall outside my comfort zone.
Anyway I wanted to draw something with the Medic, since that's the class I normally play. I know that running after a Scout with a basic Medi-gun at the start of a campaign isn't the best strategy, but my brother plays as the Scout most of the time, which is why I decided to include the Scout as well.

I use to play TF2 and Medic was my go-to class, even as I sucked at playing as him sometimes.
But whenever one too many start calling for Medic and I'm the only one on the team, I do eventually get paralyzed with laughter. X'D

I love this because despite the fact that some Scouts do move around too much to aim my medigun at them, I still do my best to buff them and heal them when they need it. I know there's some Medics that outright ignore them and I don't like that :c

hey! depending on whether or not the Scout is good, healing him and occasionally buddying him is a good option! Scouts have very low health and tend to be in the middle of the action, unlike the Engineer, Spy, and Sniper, who all share the same health amount (125) under normal circumstances. Scouts who don't get heals from Medics and Dispensers will end up taking health packs from the heavier classes who likely need them more (Soldier, Heavy, Demoman, Pyro) and will also leave YOU, the Medic, deprived of health in case of an emergency. usually, Scouts don't deserve ubers, but we greatly appreciate being healed and given an overheal buff from time to time.Β

I don't mind healing scouts that need healing-- if a scout is low on health, I'll heal him if I can get to him. Heck, even if he's already full on health, I'll still overheal him if there isn't anyone else around who doesn't need to be healed. I heal anyone who needs to be healed because that's the medic's job: to keep as many members of the team healed as possible.
My main gripe is when scouts (or any other class that isn't pocket-compatible) keep spamming the "E" key in an attempt to get a medic to pocket them. It's like, buddy, your movement speed is 24% faster than mine, and unless I have the quick-fix, I can't keep up with you. Despite this, I've run into quite a few scouts that forget that medics have other players to look after, too.

Bad scout players also tend to hog the teleporters as well. The engies get first dibs so they can get back to their nest (as an unattended nest is a soon-to-be-wrecked nest).Β The slow guys get it next.Β The medium-speed guys get it next.Β Twinkletoes is dead last.

Believe me, I know that feeling. It goes something like this:
The round began and you're playing as the Medic. Only about 5 seconds passed and then there comes the first player to yell "MEDIC!!!". So you start by overheal him/her. Then, after about a minute, another player, unscathed, yells "MEDIC!!!". So you overheal that player. AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, THERE'S THAT ONE PLAYER WHO KEEPS ON SPAMMING THE "E" BUTTON EVEN AT FULL HEALTH. HECK, THEY KEEP ON GOING EVEN WHEN YOU'RE HEALING HIM/HER. THEY SHOULD REALLY REMOVE THE ABILITY TO YELL "MEDIC!!!" AT FULL HEALTH. It won't keep them from spamming, but it'll seriously reduce the level of annoyance.

ffffff I know, that's so irritating! I mean I understand why someone would shout for a medic at full health if they needed anΒ ΓΌber in order to push forward, but there are so many people who abuse it that it gets annoying OTL;Β

The worst thing, you actually have to tolerate it. If you complain about it, the other players will start to b**** at you, saying "stfu f***face", or "gtfo". These are just some examples!
Trust me, I know enough about these kinds of gamers to say that.
