yeah, i think it's the proportions that do it
and the perspective, towards the rear, makes it look like it's curving away, kinda as if it was shot with a fisheye lens
not to say that it's not STONKING GREAT!

It was a challenge to draw a HR in this perspective, beacause of the proportions, as all the hot rods are thin at the front and get wider by the driver's door, but finally get thiner again in the end of the car.

I am no expert on customized automobiles; however, the lines and the stance look spot on. I think it is accurate of a car that has been chopped and slammed. This is not out of line of what i would expect from such a perspective and the foreshortening problems this perspective would present. I think you handled them very well. Great piece of work!

It's left front wheel is more far than right one ( looking from this side ) .
And for...
It's has small windows with huge grill and stuff.
Maybe that's the reason why they think so?

But he's not sitting so high like in your picture.I mean that the huge grill makes it look massive and huge.And that small roof looks too small for whole car.

great pic, but I partially agree with BassBooster, its way too narrow, should just disappear off to the left more, its like the chassis is a straight rectangle, no wider than the grill... as for low part, thats sexy, I've seen some rat rods go lower, lord knows how anyone sees outta that thing...
