This being is not evil, nor as high in authority as the Oni Warmblood, but one shouldn't cross paths when he is excited. If someone dared to go out during a lightning storm, it is a rare find to witness Paylag galloping across large fields. His powerful hooves send electricity throughout the ground as he runs, and his cry crashes like thunder. His electricity isn't lethal compared to the natural lightning shooting from the clouds unless he wills it. He is most docile when the storm slows to normal rainfall or clouding. Even when calm, approaching him makes any creature's hair stand on end from the static he gives off. Paylag running freely doesn't mean he isn't limited, since he has his own rider. (More info on that another time)
Paylag is based onΒ Raiju , the Japanese mythological beast of lightning.
