the others are good but bombman looks to simple compared to the others
he would be better off looking like his bombman.exe self from megaman nt warrior

you might be right about that, but I think because it's such a closeup of him, it's hard to really put too many changes. Glad you like it though

I actually did, and also made one for the darkstalkers book and got accepted by following the rules, mate. You're still missing a rule, and you can't even be grown up enough to admmit it, stop spamming me yourself with repetitive replies, it's both endlessly boring and childish. bye for good ok?

dude, i want people to see it. art for for the enjoyment, not the self-promotion. whether i get it or not is not the reason i did it. ...and its not like that would be the reason they wouldnt choose it.

I really dont understand why you copied gutsman, and drew everyone else so well on your own, thats a sure fire killer to you getting into the book. Really nice work otherwise

well i couldnt get a good pose down for him that works. wither way, it has a few minor differences. i didnt have a new style for him either, since he's too bulky to make him look much different. he's also not really the focal point of the image anyway. more a background piece. same for bombman. i dont really like him too much either

go to the Resouces section of DA and download some Photoshop brushes. i'm sure you can find some that will keep you from having blank space 
i do that when i dont feel like making something from scratch.

i use the pen tool, unfortunately, brushes solely benefit those who use tablets in my opinion... I'm sure i can whip something up.

not all the time. you can use them with the mouse like a stamp. (like i did with the background here) however, detailed digital painting can only really be done with a tablet because of its pressure-sensitivity. you can be more creative with less effort. it feels more like using a real pencil or pen.
