For: ~SweetestIrony 's May contest (Anniversary).
Yeah...the rules state that we can do the birthday thing instead of a straightforward "anniversary," so that's what I did.
This picture is based on the awful, annoying, HUMILIATING birthday celebrations that some restaurants have. You know, they sing you a song, do some kind of little dance, get the whole damn room clapping and then give you a free piece of cake like that makes up for everything you've just suffered. I really can't understand the appeal.
Btw, something tells me that Erasa was the one who outed Videl to the waitstaff
Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEETESTIRONY!!! You're officially one year old this month ^^

Yeah, I freaking HATE that kind of public display...ugh. Mother and I have made a pact never to out each other on our b-days. It works b/c we both live in fear of the other retaliating in kind, lolz.

Hells NO! We're totally against the practice (at least in regards to our own celebrations).
Personally, I think it's a huge pain in the ass to watch from another table so there's no way I'd want to be the center of all the attention. I mean, geeze, people go out to restaurants to have a nice quiet meal with their friends/family/etc, not to be distracted by a bunch of idiotic singing and dancing by the waitstaff. No thanks. ><

First thing I thought of... JOHNNY ROCKETS!!! I had so many birthdays there with my friends (coz we're all born in September within 14 days of each other) and whenever we said it was one of our birthdays all the cooks/waiters would come out and dance/sing one of the songs on the jukebox, and then get a free pancake/waffle thing ^^ I miss Johnny Rockets... It was the best hamburger place ever...
Anyway! This is so cute ^^ Videl looks ready to kill them both. And denial is as close to admission as you can get, even if it is the truth XD

As I was just telling ~ShadowMajin , I don't think either one of them is going to face Videl's wrath. Gohan isn't the culprit and Erasa...well, I simply can't see Viddy unleashing her fists of fury on a (well-meaning) girl, can you? Poor Sharpener (who should be returning from the little boys room any second now) will probably end up being the poor, unfortunate scapegoat ^^
