He saw her leaving the gala and he sprinted after her.
"Pardon me, miss. I saw you from the other side of the room and..."
He started fumbling over his words. Her eyes illuminated in the party lighting. He felt his heart skip a beat as she smiled at him.
The elevator rang and she stepped in. His heart was racing from trying to find the words to say next. His body was trembling as sweat started to run down his brow.
He nervously laughed and started to introduce himself as the elevator door quickly slid shut.
