Upon coding the personality, a computer crash has caused Space Man’s personality to split into two. Dr.Wily was able to recover the code with a strange discovery that the chip split into a more strategy based side and a crazy trigger happy side. Dr.Wily made a body that would have the crazy side which he nicknamed “Speedy” take care of mobility and the brutal strategy based side he nicknamed “Powers” to handle the weaponry.

Space Man gets along with his himself okay. One is blue, likes having fun, and likes going fast. The other is red, more brutal, and prefers to think and attack. Because of this difference in personality, they tend to argue, but they do resolve their differences and still get their work done.
