It's nice to know there are more fans out there who aren't influenced by the "fans" who have no idea what an actual Mary Sue is. I love the sorts of themes characters like Quakewoman allow the comics to explore.

Yeah, she's a really great character for the "robot" genre, especially when paired with other "robot" characters. That's not to say that she's necessarily a prop for other characters (although she can be easily treated like one), but more of a thematic tool to show just how human she is/isn't.
Compared to Mega Man, she has a long way to go to be "human", but compared to Break Man, she's way more human than him because she's not as cold and unforgiving. She's really great and i truly can't put it into words how much potential she has for the comics.Β

I feel that she gets a lot of flak for having no personality and even more flack when her personality gets programmed back into her. I don't understand why. :T

At first i didn't like the Spock-like personality, but Β the fact that she's getting a personality and an actual arc is something that can't really be said about the other characters in the comics. That's not to say that not having an arc is a bad thing in an ongoing series. But it is something that is very interesting to look into and explore as a character. i think she's a genius character and i hope she doesn't go away.Β

For some reason I like the outstretched cheek look on her more than when you give it to the other characters. (Usually Mega man's cheek isn't as outward as you draw it)
...and she's supposed to look like a teenager, so, beats me as to why I think that.

Actually I prefer the regular cheek more on all the official characters. I was just sayin' it looked good on Quake Woman. I can only recommend for you to explore your own style.

Ah i see. Well, it's all about experimenting, and i think for now i'm going to do the bigger cheek method on the "rounder" characters like Bright Man and Ice Man. And the regular cheek that you like for everyone else.Β
