[[Koriko was an adopted character, I did not design her original design! I just love her, write about her, and draw her!]]

Another one that has been sketched out for soooo long. I made a couple of edits to her design as well //and messed up her foot but you didnt hear that from meeeee//. Also, the small ghost child next to her was very heavily referenced as I used a stock image of a childs kimono for the kimono since I couldnt get it right since the ghost child is just for visual purposes and not really for reference or anything I just needed to do a quick design so just putting that out there!
Im also going to go back and edit in the Yamanaka ocs information soon!
Also be back to edit all the mistakes in here too!

Background:
When her clan was attacked, her father took her and fled from their clans village, located outside of Kumogakure, travelling to the village of Konoha. Although her father was very seriously injured and struggled to make the long journey with the young Koriko. He had former connections in Konoha which is why he has chosen to flee there, also reducing their chance of being found by their clans attacker, Arinori.
Upon arriving in Konoha, her father barely managed to explain what had happened to bring them there before he collapsed from his injuries and his exhaustion.
His injuries were soon taken care off by the medics and they were both welcomed into Konoha, but her father remained in hospital due to his weak state at the time, and he was later confined to a wheelchair.

After settling in, Koriko joined the academy. Although, due to being a 'weird outsider' she was mostly ignored, with only a few other children letting her be around them. Her lack of friendships with other children wasnt helped by her clan ability to talk with spirits and she often looked as though she was talking to herself. She created a spirit bond during her academy days.
Due to being considered weird she usually hides or denies her clan ability and doesnt mention that she can see spirits and speak with them.
After graduating she is partnered with Lloyd Sarutobi and Katsu Inuzuka, and his fluffy companion Mamoru. The three form Team Zero, or as some nicknamed them 'the Loser Team' since the three of them all are 'stunted' by something.
She grows very close to her teammates, always referring to them as her 'greatest friends'. One of her tattoos represent them as she considers them being her friends an achievement.

Additional Notes:
-Because her clan is somewhat 'religious', she often participates in short morning prayers (as well as before battles to ask for strength) and frequent meditation. She also has special 'prayer robes' for this as traditional
-As part of the Sourutoka clan she has a spirit partner, her spirit partner is a young child named Fuyuko who died during the war and cant move on because her regret was not getting to see more of the world.
-She enjoys retelling the stories of her clan to her teammates and friends, often using them to entertain them when on missions
-She has a half-sun marking on her forehead, which in her clan means she was the next generation elder, due to the 'extinction' of her clan, she hides the mark under her hair
-Koriko can only use ice release, as well as her clans 'spirit fire' attack. Later she is able to use some wind release attacks.
-She believes the colour red is lucky and thats why she wears her scarf and hairpin always. During battle she ties her scarf around her waist
-Her favourite food is Tuna Onigiri
-Shes afraid of heights, spiders, blood and thunderstorms
-Because of the clan heritage she often suffers from restless sleep, and is often viewed as a 'morning person' because shes always awake before sunrise. She often takes short naps during the day to make up for some sleep.
-She constantly has to remind people that she isnt a 'clairvoyant' and cant talk to spirits minutes after they die or if they have chosen to move on. The spirits she can see and speak with died over thirty-fifty years ago and have decided to remain in the 'in-between' stage for some reason.
-(Spoiler) Koriko breaks her spirit bond with Fuyuko before the fourth shinobi war as she doesnt want her to have to be in another having died during the first. She then creates a temporary but willing bond with another spirit (at their insistance) who she uses her clans kekkei genkai with. Fuyuko doesnt pass on until the war ends and she thanks Koriko.
