The photo of this gate is simply stunning, majestic and yet somehow decadent... although I think the perfectly white walls don't add to the picture at the same time it isn't like they are ruining it. Great shot :]

First of all, I really am glad you like it - great to hear that!
I just used black & white tone on Photoshop and then different (deeper) lightings - that's the result.
