Commission forYou've all seen this before, but now its finished!
First off I'd like to thank everyone that critiqued this work in its early stages, you all helped So So much. I can't thank you enough. I took all crit into consideration and tried to make this picture as good as it could be.
So thank you all for your kind advice, it means a lot to me. I hope you all can see the difference.
Planning on this picture kind of failed, I had a basic idea in mind but just winged it after awhile. Got stuck...then it all came together.
City scape's are much harder than I thought, I need more practice.
I'm very happy with his face, if you compare it to say...my Virgil work, my shading has come a long way. *happy*
Yes, this is a guy! The employer asked me to draw him "doll like, and fairly feminine" That is what I did.

My oneee caveat with this pic is that I would have liked to see a little bit more detail with the buildings, especially since they're so close. They don't look very solid. If they'd been father away, I could totally understand getting more relaxed with the detail. Then again, when you're small viewing, it's beautiful as is. XD <3
The folds. The folds. The folds folds folds. They're amazing. The way they're done with both hard lines and subtler blended textures is really going the extra mile! The lighting on the hair is great, too. It really grabs you in with the texture, the light, shadows, and colour--there's just so much going on, that you can't help but be drawn to it.
I see that pattern over the jeans, you sneaky girl, you. ;3 It makes them a ton more realistic, too. That's also a very cool jacket. I wonder if he's cold, what with the wind blowing. XD But I guess he's too sexy for the temperature, pffft.
I really want to know what's going on here, if there's a story at all. His expression is really...mysterious.

It's hard not to awe at your details. I've said this time and time again, but i really enjoy all the details. Haha, I envy you for it. It's something beyond what I'd do.
And your figures. Is. Awsum. Haha. Really.
I gotta say, the thing I love most of this piece, is his shirt. Wicked awesome. Black and orange works bloody well together. Hahaa. At least you made them work well XD. And the designs are giving me constant 3 seconds stun cos it's VERY superbly done.

On a different note, I don't really know how to give critiques to you already. You're really great in what you're doing. Really great. Like, really really really great XD What i can do, is promise you i'd help giving crits as much i can @__@

I really love the colors on the piece, really gives a feeling of nostalgia wether you were going for that or not.
The only crit i have is what the others said, the window perspective has something a little off about it..

Congrats for this piece, it's very nice. I liked the colors and your painting is really good, beautiful! His hair is "shinning" (sorry, I don't know how to say it to u...)! His face and body were also things that called my attention.
I also think that the wall behind him could be shorter (is that the right way to say it?)... Guess something is missing the way it looks now, with all that grey... Maybe a "widescreen" form for it? Hum, anyway, it's a great work!

Well, I love this pic. His pants are super hawt, and once again your colouring and shading skills make me realize just how much I have to learn. lol.
The buildings turned out really well.
His abs are awesome. I really don't know of any other artist who does abs like you. Feel proud of yourself....

I feel like the wall coming up from the window maybe goes on too far? like it never ends. there would be a ceiling probably lower than the top of the image.... Though I can imagine, what with the dark border on the top and such, adding a ceiling that looks right would have been much stressful toil, and isn't really a huge part of the image anyways.
