Description This is one of the concept sketches for a project in my printmaking class that I didn't end up using. It turned out kinda nice, so I thought I'd post it anyway. Scanner kinda ate it though. D: Obviously I'm back in school, so I don't have much time to draw, but I promise I am actually working on something decent. DX

Apollo is my favorite greek god. XD I had kinda of a short stroy based on one of his myths that I want to draw.
I love mythology.

Kindred soul!! I feel like he'd be my patron god, if we were back in Roman times X3 I gotta say, though, I loved Hermes' stories. He was such a wiseass to so many people

I know this sounds silly, but this picture kind of takes my breath away It's done so well that in my fuzzy almost-asleep state, I can't look at it too long or I start blushing XD This is just wonderful ^_^

Thank you so much~ All of those myths are so strange and fantastic. I used to love Artemis when I was younger, but I switched over to Apollo at some point, but all the gods are wonderful characters.

I have a color version linked from here, as well, if you want to see it, though it's a little old.

The colored version is gorgeous ( I his hair ^^)! I think my fave is still the sketchy, though...there's just something about uncolored versions

I pretty much agree (with all the gods being wonderful), but I could never get myself to like Hera, no matter what amazing feat she did. She was such a bitch all the time >_< Venus wasn't too much better, but at least she was nice to *some* people.

Thank you! I think the colored version really improved on it. I actually went through a phase last year where I did sketches of all the Greek Gods. I did a doodle of Artemis, too, but I don't draw girls nearly as well, haha. XD

im glad you decided to post it, and despite whatever quality was lost in the scan, it looks great. the hair is so light and flowy, and the look is kind of piercing and inquisitive at the same time. very nice!

Thank you! X3 The assignment was a close up on something organic with a focus on detail, so I defaulted to pretty men, as usual. I might color it later if I'm not feeling lazy.
