Description
This was part of the 30-Day Homestuck Challenge I started. I uh...I kind of dropped off once I had a weekend off work (since all of my doodles nowadays seem to be done at work). So since I've given up on that, I'll toss this up here for you.

This was from Day Four's challenge, which was "your favorite pages."

Having Karkat just sounding so defeated really punched me through the heart. Poor kid needs a hug so bad, because this is how I'm basically seeing him through that whole scene - huddled under a table in a dark room, laptop in front of him (I couldn't really draw it properly, but that's where the light is supposed to be coming from), afraid for his life, convinced all his friends are dead or imminently so, crying silently into his knees to avoid getting detected. And it was sad.

And then I listened to the song Galactic Cancer. And saw the album art for it.

And proceeded to bawl my eyes out.

So naturally when Day Four rolled around in the Homestuck Challenge, this got drawn whilst listening to it on perpetual loop. And angsty scribbly lines abound.

( Also as far as I can tell he was only around Kanaya, Sollux, and Feferi up to that point, so I just sploshed their blood around. So uh...yeah. )
