I absolutely love this piece! Elephants are such magnificent and sensitive creatures, and the way you portray them is full of emotion and shows the bond between elephants (they are capable of bonding with other animals and remembering other elephants) with grace. The simplicity of the composition makes you think deeply of the subject, not just absorbing the complexities of the artwork. There are only a couple places where a line or two is needed, the holding of the trunks just looks a wee bit awkward, but other than that your skill definitely shines through. And of course ink is a difficult medium to work with because mistakes aren't erasable, so it's totally okay. Overall, this is a stellar people.
