i love how natural and alive this photo feels. it's hard to not repeat what anybody else has said, but there is a sort of ominous pull in this. best simile is like a moth to the flame, you know it is not good, but you can't help but go towards it. hope that makes sense.
oh and i'm surprised too this doesn't have more faves!

very well layered, and the shadow is beautiful
strong contrast in the center, and there's this pull of focus on the feet. the feet seem more detailed.

This is so great. It just looks like this massive tidal wave of black death taking over serenity, and it's inhabitants are longing for it. It's like the serene enviroment has bored them to death, so they lust and thirst for adventure. I think it captures that aspect of human nature well. Keep that for the future.

the word that always come to my head when i see this picture of my sister is 'tentative.' im not sure why. its in her stance, as if shes tentatively taking the first steps out, to follow the figure in the water.
