Description

Taking some time to himself out in the meadows of Wales, my friend Harvey hears an entrancing song out in the distance. He follows the voice to a she-wolf standing out on the hills.

She comes to the end of her song and suddenly catches notice of him; surprised that she wasn't the only one in the vicinity.

"You have a lovely singing voice." said Harvey.

"Forgive my surprise at seeing another being out here. I don't often come across others." she said shyly in response.

"No need to worry about that. My name is Harvey; what's your name?" he replied.

"My name is Gwenyth." she tells him. "Don't take this the wrong way but you're awful nice for a wolf of your appearance."

Harvey says "I am a proud Brit punk, but I also have a good heart. So what were you singing?"

Gwenyth replies "It's an ancient Welsh Celtic song that's been almost lost to time. It's been preserved throughout my lineage."

"I happen to be part Welsh myself." adds Harvey. "Can you tell me anything more about you or your song?"

Still feeling a little shy Gwenyth says "Perhaps another time."

"Can I count on seeing you again?" asks Harvey.

"You may well be if you're out here again." replies Gwenyth before walking away.

Harvey remains confident that they will meet again.
