sorry, I'm very late to this and I wanted to post it on sundown of Dec 2. but I got very busy with schoolwork and other owed art ;_; anyway (as I'm posting this) it is the 3rd day, hope it's going great for all of you X) I actually don't know how many of my watchers are Jewish but it doesn't matter, celebrating holidays diversely is important! I'm actually half Jewish. My dad was, though honestly, we haven't celebrated Hanukkah or other traditions properly since he died. =<
I love this, this really brings back some good memories~
I feel like it's really rare for anyone to actually draw art for things other than Christmas, so this is nice to see! <3

haha, I've actually never had one but I'm going to a buffet on Friday that may possibly have latkes X) for the most part I've never eaten one 'cause I don't like hashbrowns and apparently they are very similar, so we'll see how it goes. anyway small world! I'm actually half Jewish as well and my dad passed in 2016 :'/ I'm very sorry for your loss, he will always be alive in your heart. ❤️
my dad was actually Catholic/Greek Orthodox but I'm Jewish on my mom's side 
on art notes, I feel you. when I was looking at Hanukkah tags I barely saw any art there so I knew it was time to make my own contribution. your comment means a lot to me either way so thank you so much and Happy Holidays

They're similar to hashbrowns, but definitely different.
We often ate them with applesauce or sour cream and sugar.
Definitely at least try them! I don't know how they ill be at a buffet compared to home cooked, though.

My dad was Russian Jewish and my mom is Catholic, so we also celebrate both.
I'm really grateful for it since it allowed me to grow up with such open minded views.
