Description
For this themed month, the majority of the perler sprites will be bosses from the Mega Man X games. Based on different animals (mostly), the Mavericks all have specific attributes that fit with the weapons and attacks they use. Toxic Seahorse was one of my favorites from X3 due to his unique design. I didn't expect to see anything in a game based off a seahorse but it works here. His stage's music also fantastic. In battle, Toxic Seahorse uses his Acid Burst, a weapon that flings corrosive acid at its target. His body is also made of liquid metal allowing him to melt into the floor and move around. For this perler, I chose this fairly neutral pose that shows off the varied greens of Toxic Seahorse's palette along with the striking contrast of his purple and red sections. Overall, it wasn't too hard to match the shading and the fuse was pretty even in the end. Because of the narrow sections on his head and tail, I had to use several pins to secure it.
