If an acquaintance or higher is about to get substantially hurt or is in lots of pain, Benny's memories and feelings for this person becomes fuel for their protection. The memories materialize, reducing pain for sustained injury/ailment or into a barrier for incoming damage in the predicted area of impact. Nullification strength is based on the impact this person has had on Benny's life. Benny will lose all memory of the person protected and will fall unconscious. When he wakes up he will have loss of speech and basic actions temporarily.
Small cuts and ailments can be prevented/nullified but anything further damaging will be unavoidable. In this case, the damage that can't be covered will be absorbed by Benny into a curse meter in the form of the victim's darkest memories and emotions. Although these won't be taken away from the victim he will feel the same amount of trauma, pain and strain all at once with adverse physical affects on his body related to the memory. The cooling down period for his meter to refresh is 7 days. If surplus damage is absorbed again within the 7 days or in the case of protecting a group of people, it will continue to fill his cursed meter and the cooling down period will be pushed back. The curse meter exists because Benny is half ordinary human, defying its laws and default genetic information. Once cursed he will lose all memory of people and become twisted and inverted, affected by the negative memories absorbed.
Passive:

Benny's gift | If someone has been protected by 'Forget me not' they will receive a charm/trinket of his profoundest memory of them taken shape. This will usually appear during or after the skill activates. The charm is an activatable item as the memory used to create it has now become consumable in relationship based levels.

Level 1 | Acquaintance or higher | Consume memory: The user can see the memory it was created from through Benny's senses. Trinket dissappears after memory is shown.

Level 2 | Friend or higher | Consume memory & Receive Charm ⌈ Benny's friend ⌋: Trinket upgraded to charm and gives the warm fuzzy feeling of Benny's hug when the owner is feeling down.

Benny is the sole survivor of an alien invasion in a parallel human world. He was taken in by a doctor from the world of Luna Arcana who was interested in how he survived and has since shown to be a smart and diligent learner, never doing things halfway and always eager to learn more. The reason for Benny's survival was because his mother, a former student of the academy and adept user of memory manipulation magic, took away his memories and transformed them into a protective capsule. She then exchanged her and her husband's life essence into protective and guiding auras that would remain forever with their son. This act triggered Benny's dormant capabilities to use magic as his father was a regular human being, and although he cannot control his powers right now, he is eager and ready to learn starting from the basics at Luna Arcana.
