Description In-class project for Cultural Marketplace - yes, I actually carved this block in class. It's a pretty simple print! The pink tints are watercolor added afterwards.
Only one of ten or so prints turned out at all; the others had some problems with inexact registration, and a lot of the paper being too dry, and the paper that I was using to cushion the baren crumpling up and making lines. I still have the block, though, and can print more, if people are interested in donating money to Doctors Without Borders or the other various funds and charities working to help the people affected by the tsunami March 11.
The quote at the top is from Brahm's Requiem.
