I actually did these to try and warm up, but I ended up getting distracted. Why do video games have to be so fun?? GRAWR.Anyway, here we have Gensokyo's nosiest bird, a very infamous and ordinary magician, a cross between Vergil and Homura Akemi, and a blonde whose role in the series is something I just can't seem to get.
I like how Aya turned out here btw.

Maribel Hearn. Apparently she's got something to do with Yukari, but I don;t know much other than the fact that the numbers of crazy theories spawned about her are often ridiculous or gut-punchingly mind-blowing. A lot of fan works I've seen of her and her partner often have them involved in some sort of apocalypse for Gensokyo, which is incredibly disturbing. I swear it.

And I swear, from the research I've done about Maribel(and Renko, since they're a pair), I still can't seem to get much about her, other than they're acquainted or something. It's like they're as mysterious as Sakuya's true identity.

They're college students who are the only members of their own club. They go investigate weird phenomena together. Other than that, I dunno much about 'em.
My favorite theories would be Sakuya=former vampire hunter and Sakuya=Jack the Ripper. How 'bout yours?

Yeah, I noticed that really little writing that states her name just after I posted it. I do remember her name having "Hearn" though, but I don't really remember her full name.

Now this is unexpected. Marisa keeps reminding me of Yang (RWBY) for some unexplained reason. Maribel is supposed to be the stand in of an Outsider in-canon trying to investigate Gensokyo judging from ZUN's albums and the mini-stories in them.

I see... I'm still a tad confused about what her role is in all this. Several fanworks I've seen that feature her and Renko always seem to be about some sort of apocalypse for Gensokyo...

She's just a stand in to explore more of the lore. Much like the three fairies in the manga and Kosozu in Forbidden Scrollery. I still believe that she and Yukari are connected in some manner but ZUN won't give the fandom anything. Same goes for any real info about Eirin and Sakuya's relation, or what Sakuya really is.
Of course, dear Shameimaru, I was thinking of having roasted crow for dinner.

The fandom just spawns one mind-blowing theory after another regarding those two! Wonder if ZUN will grant them any extra attention in future releases...

ZUN said in an interview that if he explained the relation of Eirin and Sakuya, the series would surely be coming to its end. It's like the Seven Trumpets of Apocalypse which heralds the end of the world. If the announcement comes then we shoul start panicking.
