Well, well, well... I can't wait to receive my own ... (I don't know how call that in english) ... graphic tablet ?I want do digital works.
But, for the moment, I can just do watercolours and ink.
Anyway, I want to thank this time [link] . I based on one of her photos to draw the exposure and the clothes of Vestakia.
Vestakia is not one of my characters. Surprising ? It's a character from the "Obsidian Trilogy" : "The Outstrech Shadow", "To light a candle" and "When Darkness Falls."
It's written by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory.
I'm french but I read these big books.^^
You can see a little character on the background, it's Kellen, the Obsidian trilogy's heroe. Poor Kellen... He vowed to stay chaste and celibate during one year to a unicorn. But when he sees Vestakia, it's... difficult for him.^^
Amis francais, j'ai un peu la flemme de tout traduire. Mais de toute maniere, vous etes capables de comprendre l'anglais, non ? Bon, en gros, c'est un fanart d'un livre en anglais que je lis. Le personnage en rouge s'appelle Vestakia. Et le pauvre petit Kellen dans le fond est oblige de se cacher parce qu'il est pris entre ses sentiments inavoues pour Vestakia et son voeu de chastete. XD

TIt's an old piece, there're so many errors. But, well ! It's really kind of you. I really like these books too. To read them help me a lot to improve my english.
I drew other characters as Vestakia, Kellen... And I would like to do Idalia and Jermayan too. But I never post them to DA. I don't send everything. :3

I still need to work more with my own graphics tablet. They are different to work with if you are use to a mouse.
Anyways...you have done an excellent job on this piece. I loved Vestakia's dress and the way she's looking over towards Kellen. And the poor guy just can't look at her that way! (Good referencing, a very good choice, too)
You did an awesome job with the water coloring and shading, etc. That's one of my favorite ways to paint when not using the computer. Sometimes traditional styles are better than digital depending on what type of a feel you want for your artwork. But this piece looks really nice handled with those paints.

En fait, c'est une demi-démone. Tous les démons ont la peau rouge. Ils ont des ailes aussi mais apparemment, Vestakia n'en a pas.
