Oh man, this one is so cool- bad-ass Oceanic Hunter Ariel. I like the extra "little fins" you've added to her body to make her look a little more "wild" and tough. And that Crossbow! She looks like the kind of girl you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley... but WOULD want to meet everywhere else!

The shading is so gentle you hardly even know it's there. That's quite masterful. The movement in the hair and tail enhances the atmosphere, not bad at all. The eyebrows show a nice shocked expression, while the eyes look surprised, and the somewhat pursed lips brings it all together, very good. I like the length of the torso, that's very exaggerated and stylistic. Good job.

I actually saw this on my phone first and had to look at it hard to see the shading. It's on the hair and crossbow and I want to say the tail fin, but I think that's just a new color all its own. It's really amazing how she did such soft shading, but still managed to make it pop and have a nice sense of depth.
Nevertheless I just observed what she did well. It's nothing special. Anyone one could do it as long as you understand basic fundamentals of drawing.
