Description
A compositional study I did a little while go that I like. Though this certainly has a lot of room for improvement, I'm pretty pleased with it because it represents the kind of work I want do; I really love concept art for stories.This is the same orange cat that appeared in one of my dailies; he's become a bit of a character of mine.
I'll most likely be putting this work in my portfolio, so if you have any critique for it, I would love it hear it!

Yes! Sorry for the late response, but most of the work I do now I'm doing in anticipation of creating more work like this. Story work is the most fulfilling art to me; I'm doing a lot of studies now to better learn how to make art like this.

Wow, what colours! You did a great job. Thanks for the reference to original photo. Interestingly we were back there in September and guess what we found in the street just around the corner .... about five ginger kittens playing!! I imagine that when I go again the trees will have blocked the view of the tower, which would rather spoil the scene!!
